HDR reports the original "Playa from the Himalayas," Sonjay Dutt, has been confirmed as the latest fighter to join the active roster in Midway's TNA iMPACT!
If they follow through with the promise of their downloadable content, opposed to new additions, like they were talking to me bout at E-3 then this game has legs to stand on. The grapple system works, the animations were 2 gens ahead of the smackdown series and the whole graphical production was tight and well laid out. The only thing I hated or had problems with were the run and the pick ups. Aside from that the crowds weren't as interactive or next gen looking enough, I didn't feel and also they don't animate well at all. Some of the texture work here and there is a miss, but the detail within each wrestler is more than enough to make up for it. It was a good diversion game and that's not a bad thing. If you like wrestling this is probably going to be the only one to get this year. Smackdown just can't compete with it.
