DTOID:
Girls like robots. It's the name of the game, and it's the first piece of information given. Most of the time spent is in laying out seating arrangements of emotional square people in an attempt to maximize happiness.
Girls like robots. Robots like girls. Nerds like girls, but girls don't like nerds (sigh). Everybody likes pie; nobody likes being set on fire. I like the premise, but it ends up being a bit dull to play.
Boston area game dev studios Popcannibal, Ape Law, Owlchemy Labs, Dejobaan Games, Firehose Games, Snowrunner Productions, Kyle Seeley, Chris Chung, Terrible Posture Games, Subaltern Games, Retro Affect, and Harmoinix have teamed up to create an amazing bundle of games
Girls Like Robots constantly delights with its endless variety, upbeat music and cute characters. By changing up its play styles, grids and victory conditions, you never know what the next level will bring. Instead of just providing players with a single, fun puzzle mechanic and messing with it a bit, the game reinvents itself with every stage.
(CriticalIndieGamer)As more and more companies spew out ‘Candy Crush’ and ‘Bejewelled’ clones it’s becoming increasingly difficult to find fun and original puzzle games with a casual pick up and play feel to them. When we first saw the trailer for ‘Girls like robots’ we were expecting another half-assed clone. How wrong we were.
