Gamers Universe: SBK-08 Superbike World Championship PC Review

Gamers Universe writes: "On the international motorbiking scene the Superbike World Championship has never really managed to eclipse the likes of 125cc, 250cc, and MotoGP racing for excitement or spectators. Despite a noble attempt by EA Sports a few years back, licensed video game franchises have always had a MotoGP bias. However, this year developer Milestone has tried to redress the balance with SBK-08.

The PC edition of the latest SBK is an odd mix of Xbox 360-level high-poly bikes and riders alongside PS2-friendly low-res textures and cardboard cut-out trees. While this visual simplicity gives you an easy at-a-glance view of the track layouts, those with beefier gaming rigs will yearn for something more detailed passing by in the background."
