UGO writes: "For any of the initial uproar which followed the announcement of Midway's Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe (for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3), we have to say that the game looks as though it's coming along very nicely. During a New York City media event last week we looked at a slightly updated version of the game's E3 build. Functionally, the build was what we saw a few weeks ago with two notable differences: Catwoman and Shang Tsung have now been added to the mix.
Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe will sport a roster of 20 characters in all, 10 fighters per license though only seven per side have been revealed so far. For MK, the characters include Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Shang Tsung, Jax, Kitana, Lui Kang and Sonya Blade. For DC, we have Batman, Superman, Catwoman, The Flash, Green Lantern, The Joker and Shazam. As has been said before, the game's story will be divided into two paths, one each for the two licenses."
