I like that they both have awkward to pronounce names.

Deadman5 is the best EDM artist. I am one of his biggest fans and I am so glad he is on!

Must be getting old

You could have gotten musicians who have written songs or had songs in games like Jonathan Coulton or Poets Of The Fall, bands who have had songs in video game trailers like Garbage (Not your kind of people) or Woodkid (Iron) or even live orchestras to do music from games such as Zelda, Final Fantasy, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture etc

Can we NOT have live performances? Nobody cares.

Geoff who cares about this crap? Stick to just doing a bunch of major reveals sprinkled in with some awards. That used to be one of the big reasons people even watched this show. If it's like last year and all they have is indie reveal after indie reveal then I'm not even gonna bother watching it. Also some of these nominations are jokes. How in the hell are the The Last Guardian and No Mans Sky more anticipated than Gears 4, Mass Effect 4, Dark Souls 3, Battlefield 5, etc? Hell I love QB, but in no way is that game as big or as anticipated as Gears of War 4. Idk who made up these nominations, but go to your local gamestop and see which games they're doing a midnight release for and it damn sure won't be TLG or No Mans Sky.

Last Guardian has been 10 years in the making, following on from one of the most revered classics of its day in SotC. I personally would rather have a gaming awards show represent the best of what gaming has to offer over the most popular...I'm sure there's a whole lot more bros & dudes anticipating the next Battlefield, but I'm equally certain there are plenty of core gamers anticipating TLG more. That would be like the Oscars giving best film to Transformers because it sold the most tickets. Gears 4 may be plenty anticipated & that & Mass Effect 4 have plenty of right to be on that list, but not over a spiritual successor 10 years in the making & a game that is doing something unheard of in the realm of gaming. The absolute best thing that Gears or ME can be is the best version of something we've played multiple times over, whereas NMS & TLG are a helluva lot more new & hold a lot more potential for ushering in the next phase of gaming over just rehashing everything that's come before. Not sure midnight launches are quality indicators. There was no midnight launch for the original Minecraft or Halo or Gears or Uncharted, and yet they still went on to become some of the most important franchises in gaming.

Doesn't matter if it's 10 years or 20 years. No way is that game on the same level of anticipation as Gears of War or Mass Effect. To even put them in the same league is ridiculous. Most anticipated game should mean the game that most people want to play. No Mans Sky would be lucky to get 1.5 million sales on PC and PS4 combined. Explain to me how in the world that game is more anticipated than the next Mass Effect that'll probably move fallout 4 numbers or Gears of War which will probably be a top 5 selling exclusive of this gen?

This is like having a most anticipated movie list of 2016 and having some arts film as a nomination instead of BatmanVSuperman or Civil War. .

Gears vs Halo would flip people out.
