There's nothing like a good old fashioned game of dodgeball after a hearty brawl. This classic arcade sports game is now available for PlayStation 4, but is it as good as our memory tells us or were we hit in the head a few too many times?
Jahanzeb writes: "With distracting performance issues and limited gameplay content despite there being a few different game modes, Super Dodge Ball is a tough sell given that the far more entertaining Crash 'n' the Boys: Street Challenge is available as the superior unconventional sports option."
Neil writes: "Harking back to the glory days? No not of 2019 but years before that. Well, you're in luck if you are as today we see a smattering of old, new, titles arrive on Xbox One with ARC SYSTEM WORKS porting over some NES classics for the modern day gamer to enjoy. And yep, it's Double Dragon that steals the show."
Double Dragon 1-3, River City Ransom, Renegade, Super Dodge Ball? Omg I played the living daylights outta these! Shoot, nice adds!
Hopefully there will be an option to turn off those stupid side borders. Great line up never played the NES version of Double Dragon I only own the SMS version.
Thought this was going to be Nintendo returning the favour to Microsoft for their exclusives.
Why is the final boss of Double Dragon the only character in the game with a gun? There is an entire gang running the streets with baseball bats, dynamite, giant rocks etc. But none of them carry guns. They will kill you throwing giant rocks at you
In case you missed it, the month of October is adding Solomon’s Key, NES Open Tournament Golf and Super Dodge Ball. Nintendo of America's Twitter account has now confirmed the games will become available on the October. Nintendo's Japanese YouTube channel has also uploaded a brief trailer to showcase the three Famicom games, which can be seen above.
So many NES games are such basic experiences it’s hard to find interest in this NESquik service
I just want my virtual console on my switch... is that too much to ask for? We all know they can do it. So whats the hold up?
The problem with Switch online is...NOBODY wants to pay for this shit. They basically took features and put it behind a paywall and added literally nothing new except NES games that nobody Is willing to pay for.
How about they add 3 more features instead.
1. Party chat
2. Messaging system.
3. Local back ups.
