From GameWatcher: "At long last we come to it: the final episode of Telltale’s epic Game of Thrones saga. It’s been the longest series Telltale have ever done (joint with their first ever episodic season, Sam & Max: Season 1), and in that time there have been deaths, betrayal, dragons, wights, queens, and Minecraft, and I don’t know which one is the more horrible. There’s been ups and downs too, so let’s hope that Telltale pull out all the stops to make the ending mostly an upper. Just don’t expect it to be a pleasant one. It’s Game of Thrones after all."
Matt at Codec Moments writes: "It’s taken quite a while to get to this point, two weeks shy of a full year in fact, but now the last instalment of Game of Thrones Series 1 is here. Will it tie up all the loose ends that have been left dangling from the previous five episodes? Will the characters you’ve nurtured, shunned or saved through the adventure be there to save or slaughter you? And what will the North Grove actually turn out to be? Let’s find out (keeping it spoiler free, of course)."
I actually loved this series almost as much as I loved Telltales first Wlaking Dead game. The end - at least my experience was so true to Game of Thrones and that no one is safe.
Jordan and Adam break down the events of Episode 6 of Telltale's Game of Thrones. Did their stories end well!? Probably not.
The final episode of Telltale’s Game of Thrones series arrives quite literally as winter is coming. Things have never looked bleaker for the Forrester family, spread across George R.R. Martin’s expansive world. As the series hits its culmination, strands of plot come together as do many of the Forresters themselves. After a strong start, Telltale’s latest has proven to be something of a disappointment - can this final episode rejuvenate interest in the Forrester clan?
