CCP Got into VR 'because of passion' and a 'history of following disruptions'

VRFocus - Last week it was announced that EVE Online developer CCP Games had raised some $30 million USD to go towards development of virtual reality (VR) projects such as the upcoming EVE: Valkyrie. This multiplayer space combat experience has become one of the flagship VR titles over the past two years since it was announced and is on the way to both the Oculus Rift and PlayStation VR head-mounted displays (HMDs). At the time of its announcement CCP Games was one of the few large developers to commit to VR. Recently the team has explained that it did this out of passion, following a similar feeling to that which it had for its ever-popular MMO.

The story is too old to be commented.
