Jolt: Braid Review

Despite the annoyingly high price, which will sting your credit card for more than a tenner, the brilliance of the time manipulation conceit makes Braid an essential purchase. If only the level design and platforming was as competently executed as the time manipulation mechanics, then Braid would only have been a decent story away from competing with the mighty Portal. As it stands, though, it's a slightly flawed but nevertheless essential oddity that will no doubt be hailed as one of the few pioneers of 2008.
