OXM UK: Lost Planet Colonies Review

OXM UK writes: "Yes, it's a budget re-release. But by adding new single-player challenges, the ability to play against people on the PC version of the game, a bucketload of new multiplayer content, and a big-budget romp through a frozen planet infested with giant insects, Lost Planet: Colonies Edition is probably the best budget game we've seen.

The four new multiplayer maps demonstrate that Capcom has a remarkable imagination. For a game set entirely on the arctic world of EDN III, you might expect more levels set in snowy wastelands.

Instead, we get an unbelievably stunning level that's set on board a spaceship and a Middle-Eastern-style fortress. Colonies Edition also includes all the multiplayer maps that were previously released as DLC, bringing the map count to 21." (Lost Planet Colonies, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition Colonies Edition, Xbox 360) 8/10
