Nyko's Intelligent Remote 360, which allows programming for any other infrared device, is one of the top remotes you can get for the system and it comes in at just $19.99.
The remote features 48 buttons and is divided into two modes. The upper half of the remote controls the Xbox 360 during movies, as well as bringing the guide up, opening the disc tray and powering the console on. It has all you need for standard movie playback, including stop, play, scene skip, rewind and menu controls, though it is lacking the more specific buttons for audio, caption and angle options. While the remote will not work during games, the guide and disc eject still respond, so I highly suggest leaving the remote in the secondary mode during gameplay to avoid accidentally ejecting the disc tray and losing any progress not saved.
