AOL revenue a drag on Time Warner, Google

Two days ago, media giant Time Warner announced its earnings, revealing that revenue from its AOL division had dropped by over a third from the same quarter a year earlier. The drop in revenue may be good news for the companies lining up to get a piece of AOL, namely Microsoft and Yahoo, but means bad news for Google, which has seen the value of its $1 billion stake in the company erode.
