Earlier Today Youtuber PtoPonline explores the unseen world of B.C, a cancelled original Xbox title Developed by Lionhead Studios and Intrepid.
Josh Griffiths writes: "After publishing that massive list detailing every suspended Kickstarter campaign, I noticed a few patterns. The first was between 2012 and about mid-2014, most of the bad campaigns were just that, bad campaigns. Developers not giving enough information about their game, terrible reward tiers, stuff that broke the most obvious rules. That’s when most of the true (whether genuine or suspicious) scam campaigns were run, projects that wanted to take your money and run."
PtoPOnline has new footage of the cancelled title B.C., which was being developed for the original Xbox by Lionhead Studios satellite studio, Intrepid Games. The newest footage features a build that was shown behind closed doors to gaming press at e3 2003.
This was my most anticipated game on the original XBox. Such a shame it was canned.
I hope WiLD is kinda the spiritual successor.
Man I was hyped about this game after seeing in that issue of OXM all those years ago. Really wish another game would come along and try and tackle all the elements this one tried.
Back then Molyneux wasn't completely insane yet. Many Xbox fans were super hyped to play BC.

No it wouldnt have, Reach had a terrible multiplayer, and lets not even get started on Destiny.
Halo 4 had a COD multiplayer... Reach was great, you're right about destiny though.
It's kind of funny you say that after the travesty of how hollow Destiny end up being.

I really dislike when these articles include Starcraft Ghost. The game was terrible. I had the opportunity to play it networked with 8 xbox systems at a GS manager conference. Also it was not being "churned out" by Blizzard... it was passed from terrible dev to terrible dev until it was no longer salvageable. It started with Nihilistic Software and then went to Swingin Ape.
Dude I totally agree. I got to play it as well at a GameStop manager conference back in the day, and it played like crap. There's a reason Blizzard had development stopped. It was blasphemy to the Starcraft name.
Sony stated that it was canceled, then they changed it to being on hold, along with the last Getaway game those titles are just an unknown quantity now.
I wouldn't be at all shocked if they still happened.
TBH 8 Days looked beyond PS3's capabilities, with so much physics interaction going on and such a big scope of world.
8 Days, The Getaway, Agent and The Last Guardian are probably all being developed for PS4 now.
No 'WarCraft Adventures'.. that game was practically finished and ready to ship to stores.
All the PC mags back in day did huge write up's on it and IIRC Clancy Brown was the lead voiceover.
B.C would've been amazing. I still hope that Lionhead one day goes back to it. OR SOMEBODY builds a game like it.
Games like Ark: Survival Evolved are epic to play(Least on Steam it has been). But I want more and the genre to flesh out as a result.
I want a survival dino game where you play as a Caveman like in BC.
I still remember when this game was hyped up and suddenly canceled. This was my most anticipated game back on the OG Xbox.
Oh my memories just came flooding back, remember how much hype I had for this game before they cancelled it. Think they could definitely bring it back on XB1!
