GameSpy writes: "A few days ago, Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime announced that Wrath of the Lich King, the second expansion for World of Warcraft, would be shipping in late 2008. The timing couldn't be better: after being on a bit of a hiatus with several level 70 characters, we just got finished installing the beta test for the expansion, giving us a sneak peek at the new content leading up to the release. This will be the first of many looks at the beta test, updated as we progress through the different zones; to start, here's a look at just a few of the big changes we discovered after barely a few minutes in the beta.
After copying over a level 70 warrior and level 70 rogue, we logged in and found ourselves in an eerily quiet Shattrath -- barely 10 people were in the entire city (with everyone assumedly checking out the new content). Previous WoW beta tests and public test realms have never featured big flashing signs showing you where to find new content, so, hoping we'd find some kind of portal in Shattrath, we pulled up a flying mount in the hopes of finding our way to the new continent of Northrend."
+Tons of new areas to quest in
+Lots of new features and tweaks
-It'll take at least a few levels to get a feel for how the new content is
