Nintendo has started to distribute a software development kit for the new NX system to third-parties, according to a report from The Wall Street Journal.
WTMG's Aaron Price: "If you like Super Mario World, or precision platformers such as Celeste, then boy, have I got an absolute treat for you. Pepper Grinder is the kind of game you’ll instantly start to scream about from the rooftops. It’s got fast-paced action, its worlds are vibrant and diverse, and it’s got a banging soundtrack to top it off. Not to mention the fact I’ll always have a soft spot for anything that includes narwhals. Pepper Grinder is already one of my top contenders for my favourite game of the year, especially being a replayable-as-hell Switch banger I can pick and play for ten to fifteen minutes at a time while I’m sat on a bus or train."
WTMG's Leo Faria: "As good as this NES game is, there’s the issue with how little content this collection has to offer. No extras included: you have access to three games, with save states, filters, that’s basically it. They are more fun than the sheer amount of crap featured in Limited Run’s previous Jurassic Park collection, but it’s still not a lot for the pricetag. This is what makes this a tough recommendation. I was really impressed with how good Felix the Cat on NES is, and it’s now one of my favorite hidden gems on that system. It’s still a lot of money being asked for one excellent ROM, its Japanese counterpart, and a Game Boy port that’s basically a novelty item. I’d say that, if you have some cashback credits in your eShop account, Felix the Cat is really fun and worth your time. If not, maybe wait for a discount."
Available right now, Stasis: Bone Totem from Feardemic looks to deliver a mysterious new gaming experience to Xbox, PlayStation, Switch
Sounds like they are gearing up to replace both the 3D and WiiU next year.
Interested in seeing how industry-leading the chipset is.
Okay, so now its at that point where that hybrid rumor I thought was nonsensical may actually be true. That "mobile unit" better not be a requirement to use like the gamepad and they have to get that price right. A powerful console with a portable unit doesn't sound cheap. I hope it's a different case and that they sent them both the Wii u successor and 3ds successor together.
I guess it's possible to do an E3 Reveal and still launch by Xmas of 2016, although I still feel early 2017 is more believable.
I will be eager to learn more. And by "industry leading" this thing better have, bare minimum, the same specs as the PS4, but realistically should be improved due to its later release and better tech being available.
The only problem is that the PS4 and One will be over 3 years old when the NX launches. This could be like the wii u all over again. It will hit and be slightly better then the ps4one. then a year or two later PS 5 and Xbox Next will destroy it.
"Industry leading chips"
So it comes with a bag of Doritos? :)
