Happy 126th birthday, Nintendo!
Haters in 1920 = "Nintendo is done for...it will never last "
Pachter said that.
I get the joke you're trying to make, but 1920s Japan was not a very secure place, so that kind of prediction wouldn't exactly have been out of place.
Happy Birthday Nintendo. It's crazy the company is that old.
Happy B day Nintendo and another 100 years to come.
Merry date of birth Nintendo.
126 years!!! I didnt know Nintendo had such a link to the past...sorry - i'll leave now.
Bubble up for being funny
Nah, that was actually a lot more decent than some other jokes I've heard about Nintendo's age.XD
Happy birthday my oldest friend. Wishing you success in your future entry NX.
Happy Birthday Nintendo! They need to re-print those original 1889 playing cards - Id buy a set :)
Before Pokemon, the cards existed.
Happy birthday Nintendo! And if being doomed since forever means 126 more years, stay doomed... ;)
Nintendoom! Oh wait. I mean happy birthday. They've shaped my life as a kid and they're continuing this tradition with my children now. Thanks for all the awesome games and memories. Here's to 126 more haha.
Happy B-day Captain N.
The big 126. Happy birthday to my all-time favorite game videogame company.
Congratulations Nintendo and thanks for everything.
Happy 126th Birthday Nintendo ...Please Return to Your Former Glory /
There games are better now than they have ever been. They are in the glory days right now. Metacritic, sales, are proof of that.
Not the Games man ....the No.1 Console Manufacturer like they were back in 1991. I know Nintendo got Games...c'mon bro /
I know your name is thatPSguy and everyone just assumes you are trolling, but I decided to engage you anyway. The last 15 years? Nintendo has sold the most software and hardware. And it has not even been close.
Nintendo at its height wasn't great because of its games... it was great because it had its games AND the best 3rd party offerings of the time. Imagine what today's market would look like if The Witcher 3, Destiny and MGSV were all exclusive to the WiiU. That's the kind of powerhouse Nintendo used to be.
@Sly That makes no sense and is not true whatsoever. Nintendo is the best publisher in the industry, is number 1 in 3 out of 4 categories. They are still the tops. "Imagine what today's market would look like if The Witcher 3, Destiny and MGSV were all exclusive to the WiiU. That's the kind of powerhouse Nintendo used to be." Third party has absolutely nothing to do with why Nintendo was a powerhouse. Clearly you have not looked at there financials during the snes era. Over the last 10 years Nintendo holds all the hardware and software records. Powerhouse. This is just a sad attempt at trolling a positive Nintendo article.
Here is to another 126 years of the best publisher of the industry
Probably one of their last birthdays unfortunately.
Nintendo started with baseball cards and now they are one of the most successful Gaming company in the world
"one of the most successful Gaming company in the world" They are the most successful gaming company in history
The Nintendo Entertainment System (also abbreviated as NES) is an 8-bit home video game console that was developed and manufactured by Nintendo. It was initially released in Japan as the Family Computer (Japanese: ファミリーコンピュータ Hepburn: Famirī Konpyūta?) (also known by the portmanteau abbreviation Famicom (ファミコン Famikon?) and abbreviated as FC) on July 15, 1983, and was later released in North America during 1985, in Europe during 1986, and Australia in 1987. In South Korea, it was known as the Hyundai Comboy (현대 컴보이 Hyeondae Keomboi) and was distributed by SK Hynix which then was known as Hyundai Electronics. It was succeeded by the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Article is wrong I was born in 1978 so check it out!!!
