That's good.

Though I wonder now if they're just holding back the content and not putting it on the disc, is the only difference? Maybe I'm being cynical. Still, good news. On-disc DLC is silly.

A step in the right direction for Capcom. They've been doing well lately. Personally, I'm more excited for RE2 remake haha

Yes! Get rid of on disk dlc if it not going to be free then it should not be on the disk at all.

A sad day where we have to have this confirmed; it should just be assumed and never happen.

On disc DLC was the worst scam from last gen so glad this is not the case here. Capcom was the worst when it comes to that. Glad they had changed their way it seems.

I remeber this was the reply reason for on disc DLC from Capcom:
"By including these 12 characters on the disc, the idea was to ensure easy compatibility between players who do and do not choose to download the characters when they arrive as DLC.
This move also furthers our desire to avoid a "Super" version of the game down the road. Everything you need to enjoy this game for months (and years) to come will be accessed by the retail disc available this week. When the DLC update does come, it will inject new life and excitement into the game by unleashing 12 new fighters into the wild."

LoL, not only was there a SUPER SF4 version, there was also an ultra. So glad Capcom got rid of both of those milkages this gen.
