Another week, another Twinfinite Discusses. Welcome back to the show where we answer the questions and topics that you send us in through Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube. This week, Ed, Ish and Sharon discuss a wide variety of hot button gaming issues. Like what the future holds for the major parties behind Metal Gear Solid V. What will Konami do with the MGS franchise? Do they have the guts do a MGS game without Kojima? Speaking of MGS, we thumb up thumb down whether or not Quiet’s reason for running around naked is a cool one (spoiler alert!) and also try to figure out a worse day for Mad Max to release (we can’t).

Too bad it was a lazy release. They could've updated the visuals and everything. Missed opportunity.

Yea I don’t get why they’re allowing old reviews to be posted here. Someone did one on Soul Reaver and I got so excited thinking there was some stealth release of an HD Remaster, but no… it’s just someone who had a slow day posted an old review…
I liked the game but for me it felt somehow like a military simulator rather than a proper MGS.. i got bored of that
The author was in a coma for 9 years and didn't get to play the game when it released.
Amazing how bad this game looks already. We keep acting like this gen doesn't feel like an update but I think we're starting to see it.
Looks better than Starfield, Cyberpunk and most recent games out. Still fine.
The gameplay was great. It was the tacked on open world and repetitive missions that messed the game up.
The game started really strong in that hospital, but after a couple of hours I wondered if it was even an mgs game I was playing.
The hospital section was the only bit that felt like a MGS game.
MGS4 was the ending for me. I totally ignore the fact 5 exists. It didn't need to exist tbh

Kojima : great games no matter where he goes.
Konami is screwed , their best IP is basically dead and that sucks , MGS is my favorite series and they managed to fuck it up, PES hasn't been good since 09 and all their other IPs were killed .
And their CEO is such a douche that I hope they burn .

MGS is pretty much over with now that Kojima is gone.

I rescued Kojima from the Soviets so he's on my team now and we're both waiting for MGS Online.

Kojima will always have a future in gaming. I'm sure there are many big development companies that would love to hire him for proejcts. MGS is dead, except maybe in the form of those Pachinko machines. Konami will fade into obscurity.
