My opinion on this game has quickly gone from "best game ever" during the first few days, to "eh I dunno" now.

Could be because I played it way too much in such a short period of time. It's definitely a great game but I don't think it'll stay in people's minds as much as the other MGS games

I had the opposite reaction. The Prologue didn't blow me away like it seemingly did everyone else but the more I played the game the more I enjoyed it. I finished the main storyline just a few hours ago, and if this isn't the clear favorite MGS (on my personal list) then it's tied for first with MGS3. One part in particular got to me more than any other MGS game and I know I'll never forget it, but there were also sooo many cool spontaneous moments. My own personal set pieces, as opposed to prefabricated ones that everyone will experience in pretty much the same way.

No way it's 10/10.

Nothing could be fixed ?

It's actually a 9.95674 recurring. I just rounded it up to 10. :)

Definitely the most playable game in the series, but I feel like I'll never beat it. I haven't found a good way to balance main missions and side ops. I spend so much of my time doing side ops to build up my base. Wish there was maybe more urgency in doing the main missions.

Maybe something like Mass Effect 2 where you were basically doing side missions the whole time, but then the one guy gives you a mandatory main mission you must do right away. Not sure that'd work in this game, but it's a thought.

I don't know where you are in the game but later there is a reason to press on with the story for a bit and ignore side ops. Also, some side ops are necessary but I think they are listed in gold.

I just finished the story earlier today and the side ops are still there to be done, so it's really up to you.

Only mission 13/14. I just got Quiet to join as a buddy, and have been doing a couple side ops to upgrade my Fulton and get the gun smith.

I like the story.

I wish i could talk about it but people are still trying to finish the game.

The gameplay is king i hope i can make more missions like at the end.

Love the challenging stuff.

Oh mission 50 i got a S rank.
