At last, what took him so long. Games looking good though. I need a little puzzler for the relaxation time.

Didn't he run into a funding issue?

It sure does! I know they were dabbling with VR awhile back, but there doesn't seem to be any mention of it recently. Perhaps they'll patch/update the game down the road to support that.

Looks amazing! Can't freaking wait. It's been so long since Braid, which is one of my all-time favorite games!

Finally a release date. Day one purchase.

OK, 2016 has TOO many games...there I said it.

phoenixwake1103d ago

2014 had way too many games, half got pushed to 2015, then half of those got pushed to 2016. This is the release date rollover generation, man.

I get the feeling watching this trailer that the game is a series of relatively uninteresting puzzles used an an excuse to move you through an absolutely beautiful open world environment.

Depends on the puzzles whether this game is fun. Waiting for reviews. Also interested in what the price will be.

@ 14 bucks? If thats the case ill probably go for it. Looks pretty sexy if nothing else.

Takwin1103d ago

Similar to what I was thinking, but I think the puzzles will be a little better than you expect.

However, as for the price, totally agree.

$14.99 is a must-buy day-one purchase (especially with the likely 10% off with PS+)

$39.99 and it better have a metacritic above 80 and solid reviews from the sites I follow closely (Game Informer, The Escapist, Eurogamer).

Blow is a pretty talented individual and he's taken a long time on this game. It's hard to really tell what the puzzles are at this point but if they are the main crux of the game I'm sure they will be worthwhile.
