NiOh 11 years to make this game was worth it!

I truly doubt it was in any form of production that was substantial throughout most of those 11 years. They probably decided to ramp it up after the new console success.

I'm just happy that a game that somewhat resembles Onimusha is seeing the light of day!

Have to admit - obviously changed alot compared to when the first trailer came about in 2005!

yes, I am also waiting for 10 years.
NiOh will be one of the best Tecmo Koei games ever!

This was the first time I heard about this game but so far it's shaping up to look a bit like a Japanese set Dark Souls so it's looking really good so far. Also the main character looks a lot like Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher.

i don't get where you people think that this game looks like dark souls. this game literally plays nothing like souls games. If anything it's an obvious mixture of Onimusha and Ninja Gaiden.

Just a generational gap is all. When I saw the trailer at first I thought it was a new Onimusha. It took me a little while to realize it wasn't though.

I am 100% interested in this regardless however.

It straight up looks like Demon's/Dark Souls, but with a japanese setting. The tone and methodical lock-on combat just reminds me of the Souls games.

Not that it's bad or anything, it personally looks amazing to me.

A Souls game with Samurai and Oni? sign me the f*** up!!!!

Dark Souls + Onimusha + Ninja Gaiden

A mix of Onimusha and Ninja Gaiden is exactly what I wanted. Day one if it turns out good.

Lots of people forgot about it but if you didnt know, this was supposed to be a Ps3 launch game.

Mikelarry1158d ago

Yeah i remember how i excited i was when it was first announced for the ps3 and the cgi trailer was amazing

MrSwankSinatra1158d ago

Let's not forget that studio that Sony and Bandai Namco established, Cellius. Three games were supposed to come from that studio and were supposed to be launch titles/launch window titles as well.

- Brave Arms

- Second Season 01

- Chain Limit

It reminds me of Onimusha.
