The Assassins are coming to PlayStation Now! Starting tomorrow, five epic Assassin’s Creed titles will launch on the subscription service.

This release includes the PS3 versions of the first five games in the series — Assassin’s Creed, Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, Assassin’s Creed Revelations, and Assassin’s Creed III — each of which explores a unique, deeply immersive chapter in the Assassin’s struggle to save humankind from domination by the Knights Templar.

Wow.. this is awesome but this service is not worth it to me right now. I'd rather have native backward compatibility and not be forced to pay for backward compatibility. Even if Sony doesn't add it, it isn't a big deal to me. I still got all my PlayStation consoles so I can just play these games on my PS3 but still, I think Sony should at the very least just add native backward compatibility for PS1 and PS1 titles though. Some people may not need this feature but it is a nice and convenient feature to have around.

I also want to say that even though this service may not seem worth it to me AT THE MOMENT, this service is definitely getting better and better and the value of this service is only going to increase as time goes on and more games get added to it. I'm thinking about subbing to it in the coming year. Now if Sony adds PS1 and PS2 classics to this service than it's a rap... I can see a lot more people subbing if they add classics to the service

It is, but its hard to really say being a gamer that buys. I buy often and I don't rent, I haven't rented since Blockbusters were around lol, like during the N64 days lol.

So I don't know how this really stacks up to Gamefly, Redbox etc. Renters would have to sound off on that one.

The best thing about PS Now is no need to download the game or patches or make room for storage space. Sony needs to work on the yearly subscription price. At the current monthly price of $20, I see myself buying it once a year(mainly in December) just to play some of the 100+ games in the subscription.
