Sony's Project Morpheus Confirmed for EGX 2015

VRFocus reports on Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) confirming that the virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) Project Morpheus will be at EGX.

The story is too old to be commented.

I want to know the price for it. Atleast Im glad you wont have to build a powerful rig to push it. Just plug to PS4 and wallah...

Wallah? Do you mean Voilà (its French).

For a second there I thought he was making a reference to the witch doctor song.

Ooo eee ooo ah ah ting tang wallah wallah Bing bang.

Yea that's a definitely a plus. If VR is done right. I remember feeling the same way about Kinect.

Hopefully the fact that so many different companies are involved and have invested in VR means it won't go the same way as Kinect or Move.

Saying that, a lot of companies jumped on the 3DTV bandwagon too and that collapsed in a heap soon after launch.

I genuinely hope VR avoids the pitfalls and succeeds in a huge way.

liquid VR SDK along with and included right inside Crytek's new VR game engine is also on its way for the PS4.

Example:
The LDK will also pack in Crytek’s latest version CryEngine, newly enhanced with full support for the Oculus Rift, Sony Morpheus and HTC Vive. Crytek demonstrated their engine’s new virtual reality prowess (and indeed their own growing creative VR aptitude) when they showed a glimpse of their new IP Robinson: The Journey – created from the ground up for VR. CryEngine of course will support tight integration for Liquid VR’s featureset out of the box.
