With this morning’s announcement by Capcom UK that Dragon’s Dogma is coming to PC this January 2016, Alex takes a moment to explain why all gamers should be required to play it.
I missed Dragon's Dogma the first time around on consoles. Might have to give it a try.
Why wait for a steam sale? The game will only cost $30 on PC, it's a lot of content for this price.
If the port is good, I'd say buy at launch. We must support japanese games on PC. We already know that it's good.
for now there were very high chance that it gonna be good port..the game being developed using MT Framework that could be said last gen's fox engine in term of performance scale capcom representative also had confirmed that it not gonna be locked fps on neogaf...MT Framework game tend to have very good performance even on older hardware although tend to limit 120fps max..but it still good..even latest RE HD port were using latest version of the engine
this game should on PC from the beginning because last generation can not handle it . Capcom must develop Dragon’s Dogma 2 on new generation console and do perfect port to PC .
They will :)
YES no doubt
this is why it would be wonderful if all games came to the pc.
people need to buy it and give hype to dragon dogma online for that happen but i say it REALLY worth buying..people will be in a delicious treat
I played the game but never finished it. AN excellent title!
Now's your chance!
Dragons Dogma is coming to PC! OMG had no idea!
Stable frame rate. Amazing game and I cannot wait to play a stable version.
the game is a downright masterpiece, it puts every single RPG out there to shame gameplay wise
I played it on PS3 because of PS Plus, and although I don't think it's a very good game, specially after having played much better RPGs like Skyrim and Kingdoms of Amalur, it will certainly benefit greatly from the technical side of PCs like better framerate and drawing distance. On the PS3 version, once I kept shooting arrows at an enemy, it never hit him, and when I got closer I found out that there was a barrel between us that was blocking the arrows, but because of the shorter drawing distance of scenery items, it wasn't rendered.
If Capcom ports this well it could be amazing. Dragons Dogma was a good game, the thing that kept it from being great was the numerous technical problems. Framerate was crap and so was the draw distance. I am excited to see how this turns out and what type of mods people make for it.
I doubt this game will get any mod support, most mod support goes to valve and Bethesda games
not exactly..there already modding community for RE HD port and those people actively done various mod like redoing texture and other stuff Dragon dogma used same engine of those RE and i heard knowledgeble people already said that it was indeed possible related to the game's file structure not mention there already modders who mods the 360 version and he mention that changing/modified certain stuff were not hard..imagine when the game land on pc not mention a very lot of people already clamoring for mod support for this game and i believe lot of modders were looking foward this too this game really deserve modding as it will be great with it lot of people already asking for certain mods like berserk armours, fast travel, weigh and other tons of things really looking foward to how its turn out
Such an amazing game. Really happy it's getting ported with fixed visuals/framerate.
I really hope the port is good. If it is, day one buy! I don't trust Capcom anymore so I'll be waiting for reviews on Steam.
This is one the few games I would actually like to see remastered for next-gen. Better yet a sequel, or the MMO coming to the states, or they could just release "Deep Down."
I can't wait for the many mods that are going to pop up for this game, exciting times!
dragon's dogma gameplay put shame to other wrpg...compared to title like witcher 3...DD gameplay miles ahead
Out of the blue kinda news. Makes me think it's part of a strategy to make DD 2 and put it on PS4,XBO, and PC. Played it on PS3, but looking forward to enjoying DD2 on PC, hopefully with a friend. Coop would be cool for this game.
