Destructoid takes a look on how Turn 10's upcoming Forza Motorsport 6 compares to Project CARS on Xbox One
Both look good, Forza's frame rate is the real differentiator though.
Not sure if its just me, but Project cars looks much better than forza 6 when it comes to visuals. Well, at least forza has a solid frame rate.
My opinion of someone that has played both and enjoy both. Racing is far and away my favorite genre and the Forza series is one of my favorite in said genre. Forza 6 pros Incredible presentation Frame rate Customization More fun career mode Love Drivatars Vista mode is cool for car enthuiast Project Cars Settings and options (some feel they are overwhelming) Better game for wheel users (stronger ffb and overall more responsive) Dynamic weather and lighten More realistic color palette and overall graphics IMO a slightly better pure sim title and more ambitious title overall. The rain in Forza, especially the puddles, are exceptional, but in PCars the handling is so much more realistic and harder to navigate thru bad weather over F6. Both are exceptional games for either pad players or wheel users. It just depends on what flavor you like more. If I'm going hardcore I would favor PCars. If I want to kick back and just have some great times on my wheel with smoother frame rates? I'm going Forza 6. Again, just my opinion. Luckily for me my time will be spread pretty evenly across both games for a long long time to come.
Pcars looks better forza 6 looks like mobile game next to it https://www.youtube.com/wat...
That's PC footage of Project Cars. Great comparison Einstein.
The people who actually played the demo for Forza know that it looks much better than that. You might be a decent person in real life but comments such as yours are why gamers are seen as immature.
True nooby what is the specs of the pc running the game in that footage?
Project Forza looks best.
Project Cars isn't getting my money, Forza 6 is.
Hm, PCars got my money but Forza 6 hasn't/isn't.
Congrats life goes on.
Yes, it does.
All these graphics boys, let's talk about features...
They dont wanna do that...forza wins easy there. Just like it does against other racer so far this gen.
How about the dynamic weather or dynamic day/ night cycle... Oh yeah... Forza 6 doesn't have such kind and of features while the vast majority have (Project Cars, GT5 has them also).
@gfk342 that stuff will come to forza soon enough. In themeantime forza has laser scanned tracks, and the most comprehensive tyre, suspension and physical mass simulation in any racer. Lets see who catches up to who in which area first eh? Are you even aware that T10 are the only devs to properly do rear engined rear wheel cars? thats why their beetles, RUF, and porches are more realistic than in other games...they just tweak their mid engine weight values a little, but without proper simulation of these things you cant recreate the pendulum affect of cornering in porches. T10 are the only ones doing that. they are also the only onse who have simulated four wheel steer in their game. You are driving cars like the skyline in PCars, GT an other sims like regular 4WD imprezas... It would shock you what is simulated in forza VS other sims. Tell me..what other sim apart from FM6 has individually modelled tyre walls that can get jammed under your wheels when knocked loose?
Yeah. I'd love to get more impressions on the driving. I played PCars for quite a while and loved it because the cars actually felt connected to the road with responsive steering which is something I think Forza lacks without doing a race car with high downforce.
give me another SIM racing that lets you design your car how you want them.... im talkin about Forzas level? anybody got one??? atleast turn 10 doesnt just slap a feature that its just there for a show...
Its forza 5 thats it in my opinion but im still getting it.
They do what they do ,but as a Forza Franchise fan am getting Forza .
Forza beats every other racer in realism.
