I'm happy that the PS4 is dominating the way it is, more sales equals more games.

The difference between Ps4 and Xboxone /Wii U is huge in Europe. 6 and 7 million unit difference respectively is impressive.

Congrats Sony.

More sales nearly always results in more third party games but never seems to affect the number of 1st party games. In fact, fewer sales might result in more 1st party games (at least very good ones) because they have to do more to attract people to the console- Gamecube seemed to me to have more than Wii and WiiU seems to have had more than both.

@the-dragons-bane

(more sales equals more games): you'd think that, but that's not the case at all for the ps4. all im seeing is the xbox360 blue print (mulitplats/ multiplat endorsements/ and indies). the network still has a long way to go and the games that they should be giving us as gamers aren't being announced like (god of war/ jack and daxter/ crash bandicoot/ twisted metal/ syphon filter/ socom/ paraper the raper/ and many more) along with the new ideas gaming ideas. even though the new ideas haven't been that successful for the ps4, i still have to give sony credit for the effort. but as for seeing any of the return from sony from the sales money roll over to the consumer, i have yet to see it. im not saying that it won't or can't happen, im just saying that it hasn't happen, but it needs to happen. ive got the ps4 and the last game that i felt comfortable enough to buy for it was the order. i bought that because it looked like it could be like gears of war (but i was let down by that game). so now im waiting for uncharted 4 and hopefully that new game called horizon to clean this mess up.

That's almost a 3:1 ratio! The Playstation brand has always dominated continental Europe. PS3 overtook 360 in continental Europe very quickly even though it launched 16 months later

Josuey1071d ago

it dominates the UK as well

SniperControl1071d ago

Peeps on here still think the UK is a Xbox stronghold, most of my family, mates and work colleagues were mostly Xbox last gen, this gen it's reversed with Playstation 4 being there go to system.

There is edging, beating, wrecking, destroying, and then this

PlayStation will always reign supreme in Europe
