Gameplay video of the Japanese Version.
I like it
the gameplay looks really dull give it 6 months and nobody will be talking about this game bring on the new GT, forza2 PGR4 and the new sega rally.
like gears of war then? After the release a few weeks the only thing people are talking about now is Halo 3.
That's because everybodies to busy buying and playing it. LOL what's there to talk about when all you have to do is turn on the 360.
why are you here leaving comments and not playing Gears of War. I guess your waiting for Halo 3 as well.
and does an aerial of what it looks like. Its hard to see all the deal because it was recorded with a camera, but it looks very impressive. I can tell that they have polished it from the demo I played.
Looks great alot better than at TGS. Alot more polished all we need is some direct feed to say once and for all. This gives me alot of hope for Heavenly Sword this game won game of the show at E3 when it finally drops there's going to be a huge buzz again...
wow, this game looks awesome, i was sceptical about the mud, but you can see in the video that the mud is very realist. what a great game, unbelievable! the guy who says this is boring is dumb, do you realy think forza 2 will be better, not when it is released on a xbox360. ps3 has the most realistic game ever, forza 2 will not change that, because the xbox360 is not suitable for realistic physics and graphics. motorstorm is awesome !
All hail Videl! Our leader has spoken....................sadl y.
Oh, like when the car hits the rock, stalls for a few seconds and then flips over on his side, for no apparent reason.
Oh, THOSE realistic physics...gotcha.
Did you even consider the fact that a truck or something could have actually hit the guy's trucks from behind ?
I guess not.
I know, thinking for a minute or two can be hard sometimes, cheers :D
the physics engine in forza2 updates itself 360times a second see the forza2 web site do you really think a game this arcadey will be the most realistic game ever I also said i was looking forward to the new GT game if you read my post so it wasn't some fanboy dig at the ps3 to me this game just looks too slow to be an arcade game with all the jumps truck vs bikes ect. and too unpredictable to be a simulation I also think the desert backgrounds will quickly become repetitive.
average racing game with nice mud.
Sweet vid..I can't wait.
..you would have seen the car gets slammed into as its backing up. The other vehicle flies through the air after hitting him. (Check the uppet right hand part of the screen)
...I totally didn't see that, and I was hoping that the game didn't really do that. I was getting worried real fast.
Thanks for the heads up.
Or... they could be superspecial John Woo physics! ;)
but the game is going to be hot for fans of racers.but since people like power of green aren't even game fans,he'll never see a good game unless it ran him over.same with the know it all mart.always posting negative comments on everything.
excellent mud effects.
I agree it looks like a good, fun game. Just not sure about its lasting appeal unless it has some sort of career mode and good online play. Its turned out a lot better than I expected.
WTF are you talking about?, I have always said this game is fun. PS3 games get focused on because theres a tradition of every game being hyped as the "2nd comming" by Sony fans.
i see power of green playing on Live! all the time.
you sony fanboys are just sad.
Does this game have behind the steering wheel view? Real first person view in a racing game is not in front of the car but behind the steering wheel view. I remember the e3 demo had an amazing behind the steering wheel view! I haven't seen anything like that in these recent videos!
Maybe in the sequel. It's still pretty cool to see all the amazing things they achieved for a launch title though.
It'd be sweet to have the viewpoint of the driver though, getting rattled by the terrain and vehicle suspension. Hopefully they end up making all the foliage interactive too for the next Motorstorm.
that you wouldn't see your opponents in your field of vision if you were in the vehicle.they probally wanted you to see the gags they have in place.i would have put it in as a choice for gamers.
power, you've never said it was a good game.ps2 graphics ring a bell?if a game is good, regardless of system,it should be commended.but that's never you or mart or top freak gamer.
it's a fun game.i played the retail demo after playing the download.the download is better.the final build should be fun.is it a killer app?don't know.a gamer has to like racing games to say if it is.it's not the second coming.but it is another good ps3 release.that can only be a good thing.
They sure improved the visual since last preview. I guest what I saw must have been an early build.
This game looks pretty good for what it is and reminds me somewhat of a game called Powerslide on the PC which came out about 6 or 7 years ago. Obviously there have been huge advancements in graphics since then. Anyway, as good as the game looks it certainly would not make me run out and buy a PS3 (I own a PS2 in addition to my X360) as these types of games hold no lasting appeal for me. Don't get me wrong, I like a good racing game but these types of games are more about filling a void until a bigger release comes along, i.e. Gran Turismo 4.
Anyway, no real comment except I just wanted to say at least the video makes this game look pretty good from a visuals standpoint. Certainly looks leaps and bounds over the earlier trailors!
