New Gamer Nation was quite excited to get their hands on a demo of the newly Kickstarted sequel by Larian Studios at PAX Prime this year. After managing to screw up the flow of the carefully arranged demo and subtly irritating Swen Vincke, CEO of Larian Studios (once again thanks to their poor dialogue choices), they got the chance to ask him some questions about Kickstarter, meshing emergent gameplay with traditional narrative storytelling, and the additions to the formula.
"Treat your players as you would like to be treated, that's it," Vincke says when asked about how to maintain trust with a game's community.
