When it came to choosing which title to remaster, there were a slew of games for Bethesda to choose from. Many people believed a remastered version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim would be announced at E3 2015, but that was not meant to be.
The developers of Lordbound increased the scope as they became more familiar with the Creation Kit and got inspired by the original Skyrim.
Created by Bethesda Softworks, The Elder Scrolls is hailed as one of the most groundbreaking RPG franchises.
13 years after Skyrim's release, Bethesda is updating the game again. At this point, unfortunately, it's doing more harm than good.
As mentioned here, I hate that these updates are killing the mods. It took forever to get my crap ton of VR mods set up perfectly... now it's broken again.
"We have The Elder Scrolls Online for the PS4 and Xbox One, so when I'm talking about Elder Scrolls on next-gen, I'm pointing at that," Hines said.
Except that most people don't want a crappy online-only multiplayer only ES game, we would rather have the much better Skyrim.
