Allan Muir of ToasterChimp reviews Zombi the port of the Wii U's ZombiU.
The writer of this article seems really mad about this game. I played and beat it on the WiiU and am currently enjoying it again on the PS4. If he has died 10 times already he needs to go about this game a bit differently.
I bought it without ever playing the original and it's a 7.5/8 out of 10 for me. There are a few issues here and there but the review is lacking in real depth of detail and comes across as more of a moan about it's difficulty more than anything else. What is one man's challenge is another man's 'can't be bothered'. It's nice to play a game that doesn't hold your hand and makes you think twice. He complains about loosing all your stuff when you die but fails to mention that you can go back and kill the zombie of the character that just died and pick up all the stuff in that backpack. I died a few times before I took a more measured approach and guess what, I haven't died since
"I died a few times before I took a more measured approach and guess what, I haven't died since" Yup I died a few times toward the beginning but once you adapt it's not that hard of a game. I also died several times toward the end because I was in a hurry to finish my first play through before Until Dawn. I don't usually bother with "hardcore" modes, but this game's is definitely doable and I may try it. I'll definitely go through it again one way or another. I'd give it around the same score as you for various reasons but I'm very glad I bought it on a whim. I'm hoping it will work with Morpheus but I won't hold my breath.
criminally underrated game
Agreed. I'm on the last mission on the XB1 version. Sure, it's glitchy but it's a great atmospheric survival horror.
2.5 out of 10,what a total ass this guy is. It's easy a 7-8/10.
