Quantic Dreams' thrillers will be making the jump from PS3 all the way to the shiny new PS4 early next year, though not much is known about the collection.
i hope we will see new tech demo form them in playstation experiences 2015
Chances are their next title will look so good, people will think it is a tech demo lol!
Day 1 buy for me was hoping it came out this year though.
ooo shit, shit got real
Nah this was already real.. years ago. REAL would be a new real game. However I'm very excited as well, it's just that it hasn't really gotten real up in here yet. That is reserved for QD next game.
the reason i wrote that, cause i was thinking of buying heavy rain but seeing this wait for ps4 edition
I totally would get it for Heavy Rain. Beyond in chronological order may make the game better as well (because it actually doesn't make sense to have choices in a non-linear narrative). Now, I really want Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy on PS4.
Fahrenheit is def the high water mark for them. I miss that game
It's on the pc in 4k no less. It's still here you don't have to miss it.
yeah a man loves playing Beyond in chronological order! He loved the game anyway (platinumed and played through many times) but one time he skipped around the scenes in chronological order and the story was even more heartwrenching and endearing that way. It just flowed better and had a stronger cinematic focus and character development that made sense more (film geek here)
Heavy Rain will always have a place in my heart. I managed to introduce at least 5 girls into gaming thanks to this game's intro. I also got to smash.
Teach me senpai.
"I also got to smash" Lmao! Well there you have it folks Heavy Rain gets you laid.
Sony marketing should put this in the commercials
So it's "only" full price?
Quantic Dream games are actually one of the main reasons i own playstation consoles lol. heavy rain is still one of my top 10 games of all time and i can't wait to see their new project
Well, Beyond 2S sold 2 million even though the games wasn't as good as Heavy Rain. Heavy Rain sold 3.5 million so I'd say Sony and Quantic have a profitable and great relationship. I hope the release of their Next Game solidifies them as a true gem in the industry and causes Sony to Acquire them, David Cage has already expressed he'd be interested in becoming first party with Sony. Considering that his next game has him and 4 other writers should help mitigate some of the narrative inconsistencies his games are known to have. Either way, I'm excited! Ellen Paige gave an awesome performance in beyond along with Dafoe. And it was also interesting to hear that Beyond 2S was actually running on Early PS4 engine and was later ported to PS3, they were among the first to get PS4 prototype hardware
.... I would buy this.. I want it.. I never played Beyond Two Souls and loved Heavy Rain! Yes Please!
Cool, I had no idea they were releasing a collection. I'll for sure have to check this out when it's released.
Oh hell yes.
More HD remasters, PS4 already beating PS3, well at least the Gasmes can run at 1080p since the PS2 HD Remasters were only at 720p.
A man just wants to play through Beyond Chronologically. He's done it before by skipping around and it makes what's already a great story much better but it would be nice to not have to exit each time and play the scenes chronologically plus it's nicer to have your choices actually matter since they don't when you just play scene by scene.
Love Quantic Dream games so much. I would probably buy this if it came with Fahrenheit and Omikron: The Nomad Soul.
Considering that it's called 'The Quantic Dream Collection,' I'm assuming (and praying) that it includes Fahrenheit as well as Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls.
Obviously Quantic is working on a new game, they confirmed as much in 2013. The remasters are a separate matter.
Love the collections. It's a shame when we get 1-off games like Gears Ultimate or God of War 3 instead of them all. I know Gears includes all games but those aren't remastered or remade like the first Gears. MCC may have had its fair share of troubles but value wise it's incredible. Same with Uncharted although it would have been amazing if they included Golden Abyss for the people who don't own a Vita.
