AiLive, the company that teamed with Nintendo for Wii MotionPlus has released a video demonstrating the potential of the hardware with LiveMove2.
If they did this so fast, how come developers are whining they cant do much in these 8 to 9 months? edit: i love how he hits the ragdoll with the hilt of the sword XD Edit edit: ...This is all awesome i love the last part of the video. However i just hope not all developers make Swords games only.
and this is coming from a small time guy with something i never even heard of seems like you might even be able to do more if its given to the right person so its gonna be pretty good
I think it's pretty awesome. The precision is spot-on...I want it!
Lightsaber at around 1:50. Win.
2:12 WHACK! this guy is so geeky rofl
That's really a big improvement, I can't wait till I can use it on my linux desktop/projector setup.
that was awsome.. and the sword and balls part had the lightsaber sound..you could hear it when he swung hard. and this looks awsome.. i am impressed but the $20 addon is kinda a ripoff.. unless it comes with every new wiimote
I initially wasn't too excited about the M+ but this tech demo has changed my mind. The potential for this thing to create game experiences that we've never seen or fathomed before is huge. I can just imagine someone creating a fighting game or martial arts instructional application that has you strap Wii remotes to each of your limbs and takes accurate punch/kick input. I can't wait to see what devs and the homebrew scene can do with this technology.
The guy in the video says its 1:1. @MPrime,there was an interview with EA Tiburon(the maker of tiger woods) who said that the gyroscope tech. in the M+ is the same tech that is in helicopters. $20 is fine with me.
I DEMAND A FUXKING STAR WARS 1:1 WIIMOTE GAME RIGHT NOW, GOD DAMN IT!!!!!! give me that sh!t, i want it ON "The Force Unleash". DO IT big N
