Will the open world action of Mad Max manage to avoid feeling like a grind?
From what I have seen the gameplay looks great we will just have to wait and see really looking forward to this game and of course mgs5.
Sadly though, it's going to be overshadowed by the beast that is MGS5. Last true MGS game (f pachinko crap) and Kojima's end to the series (not to mention you can have a zoo, and fulton back zebra and bears...). If only they were able to push ahead the release by 2 weeks or delay it till after MGS. It looks like it'll be this years Shadow of Mordor, though that luckily decided to wait a bit before releasing instead of going up against the Destiny hype train at the beginning of the month.
@InNoMinaTE MGS5 will had customizable bases, FOB 1v1 pvp (if your FOB gets invaded you can fight or ask a friend, and MGO later on), lots technology to research, fun easter eggs like the Hand of Jehuty, a pet dog to help you in combat, "recruit" various specialized NPCs, multiple ways to do a mission (hell, you can change the weather in the area with some research items) and you can go in guns blazing if you want or drop a missile on the building, quality story, and you can take on missions as Big Boss or as one of the people you've recruited. Mad Max will be a fun game, but it won't be beating MGS in terms of content any time soon (hell, it doesn't have any MP at all). p.s. The ones with the minds of 10 year olds tend to see those things first. Mature gamers would be watching the videos with all content, customization, and MP (minus the last video which was just Konami crap and not a Kojima video).
I hope it's good. The game already looks like it's going to be a blast. There was only one problem that I saw, and it was how awkward it was when cars nearly hit max. Just a small little nitpick, but it was odd to me. It wont stop me from playing this game though.
May I never be as cynical as the writer of this piece... wow.
I don't know why people think metal gear is going to stand in the way of this game's success. Mgs is not for everyone. It has it's die hard fan base but not really well received by new comers. We'll see.
