Patients is a virtue people game on!

I am still patient that they will add the promised games to the 360 BC. It is always good news when they fix issues.

First, I think it is awesome I can put my PS2 games on the HDD. That actually kicks a lot of ass.

However, from the title, I suspected they might have fixed the REAL problem with BC, and that is the downscaling. I read each item carefully, and while I can save my PS2 game to the harddrive, it still looks like a piece of blocky crap.

I will keep my fingers crossed that it will be fixed in the next update. And at the rate these updates are coming, I am expecing the PS3 to conduct my daily affairs before New Years.

"You can now play PlayStation®2 format software titles that must be installed on the hard disk." I think that means that you can now play Final Fantasy XI. I don't think it means that you can upload other PS2 titles to the HDD.

I could be wrong ... I haven't got my grubby hands on a PS3 to try it.

That is worthless to me then. Crap.

im getting kind of tired of the updating crap

... At least they are updating it. Sure, it would have been better if they had released a COMPLETE game/multimedia console. But since they felt they had to release a half-[youknowwhat]ed console, at least we can be glad that they are continuously working to improve it. The hardware is good (except for the lack of a hardware scaler to handle 1080i and up/down-scaling issues) and the firmware can be updated. Perhaps you'd like them to wait on updates for several months until they've got a large number of improves they can push out all at once?

didnt say it was a bad thing...just that when you're ready to game...and a update pops up

big_tim4387d ago

you haven't played a 360 game for awhile and you turn it on and it has to update? I don't think so. I would rather have it automatically update when the fix is ready then have them wait and do it a couple times a year.

Do any of you guys now if the 1080i scaling issues have been resolved??

Thanks in advance
