VG247: 2K Boston's Ken Levine has responded to rumour that certain members of the original BioShock team left to work at 2K Marin because of dislike for him personally by saying talk of its kind simply doesn't matter.
For taking MS's cheque and delaying Bioshock for my PS3! JERK!
take it's fledgling steps alongside the industries of television and movies. All the crazy pseudo-journalism, egos, trials and tribulations, campaigns of disinformation, passionate debate and fanboisms. Whoa, that was deep thought (shakes head).
okay this videogaming247 must want hits cause they chopped up the whole interview which has been placed on this site through at least 5 articles. Come on already.
PS3's Bioshock is gunna suuuuuuuuuck.
"PS3's Bioshock is gunna suuuuuuuuuck." Just like your bubble count.
HOW MUCH MORE LEVINE NEWS WE'LL SEE TODAY? :S
you gotta be an a**hole to be a good boss and get things done thats the harsh truth, especially in a technology driven field youa ren't suppose to love your boss, you're supposed to do what they say because they are in charge for a reason
Without actually clicking disagree I feel I must give a dissenting opinion. I have worked for assholes in the past and I am getting a whole lot more done now that I have a boss I respect. My boss asks me to do things, he doesn't tell me, and sometimes a week will go by without me even seeing him. What does that mean for me? It makes me more inclined to take care of him by doing everything I can to get the job done. He takes care of my team, we take care of him. You don't have to be an asshole to get your employees to work.
in a lot of cases you are right, but from my experience in a creative field you get people who think their idea is the best and won't go with anyone elses no matter what and the product suffers but it also depends on the personality of your employees as well, if you have a creative person who is open to criticisms and willing to swallow their pride once in a while it is easy and your way works, but if you have stubborn people who always want things their way you have to go the other way
very well put or else the team will lazy around doing nothing. See that happen all the time at work o.o
