Love that this game looks like your actually playing a cartoon.

TwoForce1198d ago

I trust Platinum Games, but i don't like Activision.

FullmetalRoyale1198d ago

Switch trust and like and you'll have what I wanted to say. :)

gangsta_red1198d ago

This is the throwback game of the year!

Now all they need is a Thundercats and GI Joe games based on the 80's cartoon.

LatinGamer2141198d ago

WOW ThunderCats and Gi Joe some of my all-time greats cartoons from back in the day thanks for taking me back dude bubble for you:)

ShadowWolf7121198d ago

Well it's not -entirely- a throwback, as it was influenced by the current IDW comic line, but it looks great.

gangsta_red1198d ago

Well isn't the IDW line basically a throwback of G1 just with different stories?

Don't get why there is no Wii U version. This is the kind of 3rd party game that could sell decently on the system, Activision is already bringing Guitar Hero and Skylanders, so why not Transformers?

skydragoonityx1198d ago

I think we all know by now nobody takes the wiiu serious anymore

Rookie_Monster1198d ago (Edited 1198d ago )

Unless they have a Mario transformer in the game, it is not even worth it at this point just like EVERY third party game. Sega was actually smart enough and made a couple of Sonic vs Mario at the Olympic cause they know that is the only way their games will sell on a Nintendo console these days.

ChronoJoe1198d ago

What's there to get? the Wii U has less than 10 million hardware units sold. So a Wii U multiplatform game, just won't sell that well, even when compared to an XBOX ONE version.

Another issue stems from the game pad, having to code for and incorporate some form of functionality means a straight port isn't viable.

addictedtochaos1198d ago

Check your numbers the Wii U passed 10 million.

ChronoJoe1197d ago (Edited 1197d ago )

Don't be pedantic, VGC has it tracked at 9.9, are you telling me my point is invalid if its above that? It may well have just over 10 million units sold, but it doesn't make a difference. The hardware isn't selling in line with other platform holders, in fact, the Wii U system is pretty much dead at this point in respect to hardware sales.

DrumBeat1198d ago

Because not that many people care about the Wii U.

Great news. Glad Platinum goes the extra miles and delivering 1080p and 60fps across both current gen.

raggy-rocket1198d ago (Edited 1198d ago )

Why the disagrees?

Rookie_Monster1198d ago (Edited 1198d ago )

Because the XB1 version hit the magical 1080p perhaps. Either that or they don't like Platinum game going the extra miles. LOL, I am not sure.

Darkwatchman1197d ago

Have you seen how the game looks? If the current gen consoles couldn't run such a basic game at 1080p 60fps, then I don't know. That would have been pretty sad

Summons751198d ago

surprised Activision is giving them creative freedom...unless this is a trap and Platnium's next game will be Call of Duty because they made a deal with the devil.
