As with Dear Esther before it, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture offers up an admirable and atmospheric experience that simply isn't all that much fun to play.
There's always one who just don't get it.
That's what i was thinking too lol
i'm looking forward to playing this at 10pm tonight!
there's always going to be some one who doesn't like it... Deal with it.
They gave Journey a 3 out of 5, go figure.
"As with Dear Esther before it, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture offers up an admirable and atmospheric experience that simply isn't all that much fun to play. " And this is my biggest fear about this game, and why I haven't preordered
Some games are pure fun to play (e.g. Rocket league, call of duty) but lack some other aspects, and that's fine. These are the games I spend most of my gaming time with. But I still don't consider these masterpieces. Then there are these artsy games that might not be that fun to play (no addictive gameplay mechanics) but they will still stick to your mind for a long time and make a lasting impression (in a good way). EGR might be one of these games and I'm totally fine with that.
Well said. I wouldnt call Schindlers List a "fun" movie, but definitely one I think everyone should see.
I really enjoyed playing Dear Esther. So, I guarantee I'll love this.
This seems like one of those games that some people will really love and give it a 9 or 10 and others will really dislike and give it a 5. Well anyways I can already predict IGN's review - "7.8 to much walking"
