Game looks phenomenal.Always been a fudge fan of any Clancy games especially the Ghost Recon franchise.Love the way that they've went open world, do what you please when you please.

After the success of borderlands and the survival game popularity, I'm surprised more devs havnt gone this route. It's a ton of fun to have drop in Co op in a huge open world sandbox. I think this is what the last AC was aiming for, and it could have been epic, but too many systems were compartmentalized by pay models. And it definitely didn't have that, grab of few friends and play accessibility like a borderlands etc. Vehicles will help a tom in the new Ghost game.

become prob my most wanted game from e3,i miss ghost recon (graw) so much played it from pc days and early xbox days was awesome.

Yeah baby! This is the shooter that I most look forward to. Love Gears and Halo. But Open World Ghost co-op is geeking me out.

Ghost Recon has always been fun. I remember playing the PC demo of the first game for the first time and although it was hard (because I didnt really have a grasp about the "realistic" games back then) and my patience was a fraction of what it is now, it was a memorable experience.

Only recently I have been realty getting into the gamesand got GRAW2 for a quick playthrough, it was okay. More recently I picked the original one and Jungle Storm for the PS2.

I can only imagine how awesome this one is going to be with open world gameplay and such.

This game just looks seriously incredible. I look forward to jumping in this with my friends

Am I the only one who feels like the open world thing just doesn't suit a Ghost Recon game. Nothing bad is being said on the quality of the game but I feel we are getting one of those games which looks good but at the end of the day could have been a new IP.

Dirtnapstor3180d ago

Yup.
But really, I think there will be a structured story for you to follow. Having GR without any guidance wouldn't be right...unless they're mercs. We'll see. This game looks phenomenal!

Saijahn3180d ago

but it does though. Just thinking back to Future Soldier, it was nice to have a little openness in how you could handle a situation. So with Wildlands being open world that should be amplified.

One of your teammates go shut down an antenna, another stealthing through an enemy camp while you and another storm a cache warehouse. The possibilities could be endless.

Openness in a tactical shooter which lets you do more then one thing to kill your enemy...sure

However a massive open world game completely going in a new direction then any game before it.

I just don't see it. I see a new IP

"Wildlands"

Sounds like a good title for a new IP to me

Developers are getting too attached of using established IP names for new ideas, even if it means changing the franchises identity rather than taking the risk and doing something completely new with a new IP.

Assassins Creed: Black Flags was another one.

A Pirate IP with more customization and added RPG elements would have been a better fit then forcing it into a game about Assassins. Wouldn't you agree. Even the title by it's self like above.

"Black Flags"

Sounds good to me.

Gamepass has changed everything. Phil, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for Gamepass. I just bought 50 years worth of subscription and I'm so happy.

Riiight! Thanks to GP I've discovered hundreds of indie fillers I would've never known about otherwise. Best part: team Xbox has discovered how great walking sims and interactive movies really are! And EA Play? Love me some 4 year old sports games!! Why sub up though? Just let MS auto renew that incredible $14.99 a month value. It's so easy!!

Gamepass is just so amazing. Adding EA play to it brought the service to a whole nother level. Phil Spencer has the brightest mind in gaming. By far.....
