Mehdi previews Crackdown 3 at Gamescom 2015.
With such epic multiplayer, I hadn't really considered what the actual campaign might be like, but it sounds like a blast - the idea of playing your enemies against one-another is cool, as is the 'Hate Metre' (N4G needs one) and the transforming vehicles sound badass. Female agents are a welcome addition - I enjoyed playing Sunset Overdrive as a girl, so it's nice to see the option in Crackdown... hopefully I don't end up spending half of my time 'playing Dolly' with my character again (SO has a crazy wardrobe). Obviously the multiplayer is where Crackdown will shine, but it's nice to know it'll still have a proper, agility-orb filled campaign.
Excellent preview. 11 servers were used to help calculate physics for the epic destruction with steady framerates sound very impressive indeed. Can't wait to hear more from this game in the upcoming months. Truly next gen stuff cutesy of Azure. As with most Xbox exclusives, glad there are several modes of play from Single, coop, and MP included in these games to add value and no doubt Cloud processing used for more games will add immense value to Live Gold during this generation.
Guy in the picture has a similar look to the Brink characters i really liked the art style in that game , keen to smash some more Los Muertos .
The campaign will also be deeper with a new take on the narrative. I'm liking Crackdown 3. Glad David Jones is back.
I'm happy their focusing on both the campaign and multiplayer, this game has really suprised me. I can just imagine how fun it will be with a full lobby online with everyone blowing up buildings and trying to kill eachother lol
Exactly. I'm really glad they added a campaign and from the looks of it, this mightbe the best most ambitious campaign yet.I guess we need to start saving up for 2016.
I've just been Googleing the guy - turns out he's also the creator of Lemmings and Grand Theft Auto... it's amazing how many of these veteran 'pedigree' devs are building games for xbox. also, David Bowie's real name is David Jones... Coincidence???
The guy is super talented. He made the first Crackdown which was amazing so I'm glad MS is once again handing this game to him. The guy is a genius. That cloud demo was awesome.
The game is also a year and a half away from release, all this epicness is only going to get more. I can't believe how amazing next year is going to be.
