Gaming Trend writes: "BioShock was the spiritual successor of the System Shock series. It was released for the Xbox 360 and PC simultaneously on August 21, 2007. It won several Game of the Year awards, partially because of the morality of the use of "Little Sisters." While there were rumors of BioShock coming to the PS3, it wasn't until May of this year that those rumors were confirmed. While a version of BioShock for the PS3 is great, what good is it unless it features some enhancements? That's what I got to see at this year's E3.
I only got to see one of the new features of BioShock for the PS3, but it sounds like an interesting feature. While they have people across the many 2K teams working on the port to the PS3, a small team from 2K Boston is working on exclusive downloadable content for the PS3. The way you can use weapons, gene tonics, and plasmids in BioShock make it possible for a unique experience for every player. The people at 2K Boston wanted to create a way to use all the resources at the player's disposal and make player's think more creatively. That's how they came up with "Challenge Rooms.""
