It's really cool that blood will be an important aspect of the game instead of just being something that already exists or for adding gore. I like how MGSV is turning out really.

Yeah I saw earlier in the Gamescom Demo that if you want to remove it you'll have to return to Motherbase and take a shower. Lol. I love how hyper realistic MGS games get...

If I'm not mistaken they said the rain washes aways the stains in the gamescom mother base video!

EDIT: I can't seem to find it, but I'm sure I've heard it somewhere, maybe another gameplay video from gamescom... does anyone else remember that?

The blood will probably show up during cutscenes as well. The level of detail in this game blows my mind.

Biggest reason Konami is firing him, is because he went much higher over budget to create the game, he wants his last MGS game to be the perfect one.

They fired him but still kept several concepts that he introduced into the game and worked on them till they made them true. Which is really sad for Kojima since I think if he had been still with Konami this game could have been even better than it is supposed to be.

@mosta My understanding is that he finished the game with them... Even if not, in a 5 year dev cycle, leaving in the last 5 months would mostly mean his missed debug--which is a bummer, but it's still his game through and through.

Yep especially when you have fought like 20 opponents and blood was spilled all over the ground and you are walking like you just got out of a beauty salon. TOTALLY ANNOYING

I remember in Perfect Dark Zero, a 360 launch game, when the bodies and broken armor stayed on the map after death. Thought: yeah, this is gonna be a standard in next gen!

Crackdown 3 did what COD and battlefield couldn't which is have a 100% destructible world during multilayer. This game and most will set new standards for big franchise debs.

Crackdown looks like a cartoon. And yes, you can level everything as long as there are are other Xboxes connected online. However, blowing $h!t up is only fun the first few times. After that, it's all about the gameplay, which I saw none at all from crackdown.

Crackdown 3 is a old old old old game concept wise mercenaries 2 had more destruction more content and was way better.

next gen game my ass mgsv is the only real next gen game with new fresh innovative ideas.

I have 2x PS3 and none of those game is doing what Crackdown 3 is doing.

Crack down3 physic is next gen MGSV blood thing is small feat compare to fully physics base City destruction and the debris won't disappear.

@Sonyslave3 - actually they do. If you knock one building into another it will break the other building in red faction. They even had a light cover system that let you snap to walls and peices of buildings that where large enough.

and Sonyslave, Crackdown buildings look like they're built from legos, zero effects, zero dust, just things falling apart.

Maybe because Microsoft owns one of the hugest server farms in the world? Crackdown is an impressive feat, but this game has more to it rather than just being a tech demo like Crackdown.

But MGSV is coming to last gen... So all this was already possible. This really ian't anything new or next gen. Now the cloud computing for Crackdown 3 is next gen.
