No New Consoles For Ten Years?

Brian Farrell, CEO of THQ, believes that it will be at least seven years before we see a new console released. And Epic Games President Mike Capps has as similar view, stating that the next generation is unlikely to start for up to ten years.

I agree as well, you'll start to see why Sony put so much tech and wonder why Nintendo barely has any tech?

I made a blog about this:

it will not take that long and we all know that. But they do need to etend the life of consoles just for the fact that it gets annoying 1 to 2 years into a new console lifespan to listen to this crap and read this crap about WHEN the next gen is coming and that slowly destroys this gen for many.

People need to enjoy what they have and not constantly contiplate what could be coming 2 to 3 years down the road or to somehow beleave it might happen sooner becuase it has happened in the past(xbox1) to (xbo360).

And to the ones that say there is no need for one until 2018 are insane. the 360 will go another 3 and a half years at max before a new ms console is sold and another year for sony's

PC games will change their tune in two or three years. The consoles will be slow and ugly compared to what the PC will have. That or Nintendo will finally do a high def console and blow M$ and $ony away.
