Final Fantasy XV May Borrow Tech From Just Cause 3

Square Enix has confirmed that it’s in talks with Avalanche Studios to use Just Cause 3 tech in Final Fantasy XV.

In an interview with IGN at Gamescom, Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata revealed that conversations have begun about a collaboration between both studios’ development teams.

The story is too old to be commented.

How is this game suppose to be 65% done, out in 2016, and Square's *In Talks* to use tech from someone else for it? Even if it its only for a certain section?

Especially if its only for a certain section of a game that's "suppose" to be out in a year!

Well, I think using someone else's tech just for the sake of a particular segment of the game can fit in the 35% left. At least I hope so !

Plus, if it's to add some "verticality" in the game, it could definitely be worth it. Aircrafts !

no worries, Street Fighter V was 20% finished back in Dec. 2014, now look at the progress.

It's important that they look at other studios and collaborate if there are some areas they'd like to create that they don't feel so strong about.
It could spark come creative elements and the two are open worlds if I'm not mistaken, so they're probably assets that they could use to advance development, rather than to stall it.
