The Top 10 Sequels That Need To Hurry Up

Sequels are an interesting aspect of the gaming industry. Lately, it seems, the public has been subjected to a barrage of nothing but sequels; Metal Gear Solid 4, Grand Theft Auto IV, Soul Calibur IV, Call of Duty 4, Halo 3, and the list goes on and on.

Although there are those rare occasions where a sequel is absolutely necessary, in such cases where a developer wants to tell an epic, grand story that would take far too long for one game. In this list, Casualty Gamer will count down my top 10 most anticipated sequels that need to hurry the hell up.

Killzone 2 , hell yeah

Max Payne 3 , not sure , the second one was .. eh

otherZinc3708d ago

when that fool said Killzone 2 looked as good if not better than that movie they showed at E3 06, but I believe it was E3 05 when the lie was shown.

I'm not even excited about Duke Nukem Forever anymore. They missed their chance.

I was a hardcore Duke fan back in the day. Even built a few awesome levels with the old "Build" engine. Then they announced a sequel using the original Unreal engine like 15 years ago.

Sorry guys, you missed the boat. How is 3d Realms even in business anymore?

kazuma3708d ago

tru that, the only game i don't care about on that list is duke nukem forwheneverwelaunchit

half life was nothing special

portal was cool but if they dont add something new then i wont get it.
kingdom hearts was very stupid in my opinion but i know there are lots of fans out there

did you just say that half life was nothing special? you're missing something. what's the word i'm looking for.....?
oh, right. a brain.
unless, of course, you either weren't around to experience HL1 when it came out, or you've never played it.

Polluted3708d ago

I'll let that slide if you never played Half-Life 1 or if you never played it until recently when a lot of it's inovations have been copied by other games. When that game launched it was most definitely something special.

I'll add you to my ignore list.

poopsack3708d ago

how long did it take you to come up with that one?

I'm pretty sure the trailer that they're talking about at the end of Kingdom Hearts 2 is for Birth by Sleep, the upcoming PSP game. Though I'm still looking forward to KH anyway.

iamtehpwn3708d ago

That guy is an idiot, it even says in the trailer "it all begins with Birth by Sleep"

Hailtothegun3708d ago (Edited 3708d ago )

At the time of Kingdom Heart 2's release, there was no announcement for the PSP game. Thus, first assumptions pointed to a Kingdom Hearts III. Even if that "trailer" is officially for Birth By Sleep, it doesn't deny a KHIII game that will inevitably come out.

Which was the point.
