SegmentNext - When a game is in there for the long run, developers keep looking out for new ways to keep things interesting. For Destiny, it appears, that birthday rewards could be one of those things as the community is pitching the idea itself.
How about letting us gift an item from our inventory to one friend on Christmas day.
I think the new expansion is exactly the changes that Destiny needs. It will be much simpler, a better base to build upon. I still think they need guilds of some sort, and more social activities for downtime, like speeder races etc. But they have a ton of time. Hopefully ppl will give this another shot. B/c its gonna be a much better game than at launch.
So people like me, who haven't purchased any expansions, should spend $80 more, for the game to be fun? I know it's not what you meant, but it doesn't change the fact.
Birthday rewards? bungie and activision are gating content behind 711 exclusive redbull.. The taken king costs forty bucks and 20 bucks extra for some exclusive shaders and emotes.. How can any destiny player be concerned about birthday rewards when it is literally impossible to own/aquire or have access to all Destiny content? I love this game for the fellowship and social aspects as well as the pvp, but the way bungie and activision are handling the business side is getting more and more obnoxious.
What do you mean impossible to own all content?
I think being able to buy, sell and trade items with other Gaurdiens would be great! And a fun way to interact with one another in the Tower/ Reef!
here some strange coins, happy birthday.
