Microsoft Will Put Its Own Games On Xbox Early Access

Since announcing Xbox Game Preview (Xbox’s version of Early Access) at E3, Microsoft has had “a mad rush from the game development community” to be part of its pilot program, says the company’s head of publishing Shannon Loftis—even Microsoft itself plans to release its own first-party games through the service.

The story is too old to be commented.

They confirmed all future Gears/Halo will have Betas so this makes a lot of sense.

OmG, this is like so Awesome. Thank you MS and xbox Access. Now, we might be able to play all these Fall and the tons of 2016 exclusives early just like Battlefront from EA Access.

Is it me or is seems like great Xbox news just keep on rolling out like every hour since Gamescom?

I wonder if the Xbox will be able handle these early builds as they require more power and resources than the finished products to run due to lack of optimisations and the myriad of bugs in the unfinished games.

People complain about Steam Early Access games when they can't run them on their PCs. I guess the same will happen with Xbox gamers too.

It's not all rainbows and unicorns testing alpha and beta games. They could crash your systems and brick the console if you're not careful.

For instance ARK is still unoptimised for PC gamers and runs like crap for a lot of high end PCs and you want this on Xbox Game Preview program?
