Snake to appear in Motorstorm 2 ?

Will Snake be a playable character in Motorstorm 2? It seems that nobody ever realized due to the rapidity of the scenes, but Snake does appear twice in the Motorstorm 2 E3 2008 trailer. Check it out at 0:44 and at 0:58, in High Definition of course. (Culture, Motorstorm:Pacific Rift, PS3)
