Obsidian Tackling SEGA Alien RPG

Following SEGA's announcement earlier this week that it's set to bring games based on the classic Alien sci-fi movie franchise to next-gen consoles, the company has revealed that Neverwinter Nights 2 developer, Obsidian Entertainment, is hard at work on an Alien RPG.

Although no specifics have yet been revealed on the RPG, SEGA promises that it will retain the unique look an feel of the movies while making the most of all that next-gen horsepower to create a brand new Alien experience.

Of the new partnership, SEGA of America's president and COO, Simon Jeffery, noted, "With Obsidian Entertainment's development pedigree, they were our first choice to bring the Alien franchise to the RPG universe. They are the only developer for us that could effectively combine the Alien mythology with compelling RPG gameplay to create the ultimate Alien experience."

The story is too old to be commented.

did a good job with KOTOR II: The Sith Lords, except for a few bugs. Overall it was a worthy successor to KOTOR.

Shouldn't they be busy making KOTOR 3?
I agree righthand man, they did an admirable job of KOTOR 2; although it never came close to the greatness that was KOTOR 1.

Long Live Darth Malak.

I think this would be well suited to a Gears type game.
