Bungie have released a new trailer for The Taken King and are rebooting Destiny's leveling system. There's also a rumor of a PC port in the works.
Ok I'm fine for Pc version but I still not going to buy this game. Sorry I lost interest long time ago...
basically your going to pirate it. don't cry when games don't get announced for PC in the future.
It's an online game. No one can pirate it so please STFU. Btw do Xbox gamers pirate their games as they don't make as much money for publishers than PS4 and PC.
I'm really disappointed they have forsaken the PC this whole time (one of the few 3rd party developers who have), but I've always thought the game looked compelling and I would still get the PC version if they release it.
Activision/Bungie lost their chance to release it on the PC, now it's probably too late. Most PC gamers already know that Destiny is crap. By delaying the PC version, they lost a lot of money.
Where did you buy your crystal ball?
i would agree here, but the fact that pc versions that were ported and people saying they wont buy it, end up buying it anyway. so saying they lost their chance is pretty much crying wolf here. Also, any copies they do sell is bonus here, they never intended to release it on PC. otherwise it would already be out. so even if they sell 500,000 or more copies that would be a plus in their book and with all pc gamers 500,000 copies is a easy number to get.
I'm hoping the rumour isn't true as I don't want another arrogant and greedy developer like Bungie making games for the PC platform we got enough of those with WB Games and Ubisoft. I've already tried the beta on my PS3 and the game is so generic and gives most Korean MMO grinds a run for their money. I will definitely not be buying Destiny on PC. We got better games to play.
The thing is, It's really good. There aren't many multiplayer games that will give you the feeling of elation when you conquer some of Destiny's stand out content. If the original launch of the game included everything they are featuring in the Taken king expansion then there would have been many people hailing it as one of the greatest games of all time. In some area's the game is lacking, And bungie deffinitely took a few short cuts, Pricing is a little high unless you consider the 1000+ hours you may play the game. I can understand If you play alone and are too shy to make friends then you may find it a complete grind. But if you have a group of friends sharing this adventure with you then it is amazing. Other than Halo 2, Forza 3 & 4 I have never played a game solidly for a year. I'm not addicted by mechanisms or carrots on sticks. The game is just simple very fun to play with friends. Beautiful to look at, Sounds amazing and has very very tight gunplay on top of super powers to boot.
I hope it comes to PC. It's a good game but it has a horrible story and some idiotic things about it. But now that those things are being sorted in the new expansions I think this can actually become really good. People saying they will never give it a go again because of how it was. Clearly have not been around long enough to know how some games change and evolve to the better. And in the end it's their loss...
I would give it a go on PC, purely because crucible might be more enjoyable for me with kb/mouse. If I liked crucible I would like Destiny, I could gloss over the other shortcomings.
I would have given it a go if the other 2 expansions were any good (HoW was OK at best, the first one was just plain boring!) and if it is was included in the season pass. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me...
Lost interest a long time ago. They took too long.
I'm glad Bungie is coming back to PC after a 15 year hiatus, I'll not be getting Destiny as I simply do not like the game but it's good to see however late it is.
they should have focused on the pc instead of the xbox 360 and ps3 in the first place.
I'll get it on PC when the price is right. I have maybe 30 hours in the PS4 version. Mouse and keyboard plus high refresh rate alone will make it worth it to me, assuming their engine allows 144Hz. It'd also be nice to play it at 344x1440/60fps.
Just sent my resume and video reel to them. See how this goes.
