Short Pause: "Brent dives head first into Uppercut Games' new combat-free exploration experience. Does this beautiful title rise above the competition?"
I'm not sure how I feel about these "combat-free" games. I understand it's meant more as a relaxing experience, but after playing video games for so many years because of my love for challenging gameplay that has consequences for making mistakes, I guess it's just a genre I'll have to spend more time with to appreciate. No doubt that this is a very pretty game though.
It's not a perfect game by any means, but it is indeed beautiful in motion and the story of Miku (the protagonist) is actually quite good. It's a good step in the right direction for a genre that is often overlooked. Would like to see more from Uppercut Games
